Strategic and Action Plan

Vision

We believe that quality teaching is the cornerstone of educational success for all students. Our new community is designed to bring together like-minded educators who are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students with special education needs.

Strategic Mission

  1. Promote Policy Change: We aim to advocate for, and facilitate, institutional policy changes that enhance support for students with special education needs, ensuring they receive the appropriate accommodations and resources for their success.

  2. Improve Knowledge and Resources: We strive to expand the knowledge and availability of qualified teaching staff and resources. By sharing best practices and research, we can collectively improve our teaching strategies and support systems.

  3. Exemplary Collaboration Instances: We are committed to fostering cross-institutional partnership that cultivate an inclusive and supportive academic environment for every student.

  1. Promote Policy Change

  • Identify a set of existing SEN support policies

  • Dissemination of the set of good support policies

Measures of Success:

  • Number of participating institutions

  • Number of policies recorded

  • The set of good support policies disseminated to UGC and institutions.

2. Improve Knowledge and Resources

  • Conduct two online workshops/seminars

  • Collect outstanding good practices for inclusion in online publications

  • Set up a portal website that consolidates resources

Measures of Success:

  • Number of online seminars/workshops

  • Number of participants

  • Number of resources/tools available

  • Number of visitors and/or access of the website

3. Exemplary Collaboration Instances

  • Establish exemplary collaboration instances

  • Networking opportunities

Measure of Success:

  • Number of collaboration instances

  • Number of networking events hosted

  • Number of participants
